Rule 34C
Provisions relating to additional groups
: (1) Section 18D of the Act. According to sub-section (2) of the civil servants who are on leave, if they are in a group other than the Ministry of General Administration, the Ministry of General Administration may assign such employees to work in other agencies by taking salary allowance from the office where they are posted.
(2) Section 18A of the Act. According to sub-section (2) and sub-section (2A) of the civil servants posted by the Ministry of General Administration may be transferred to additional groups.
(3) When requesting for a post to be filled, the request should be made only by reducing the number of employees in the additional group.
